Can't fasten to stockings

This belt is soooo pretty and is beautiful with the matching bra and panty. The problem is the fasteners are so tight, you can't attach stockings to the belt, and if there's no stockings attached to the belt, what's the point of wearing it? Would be perfect if they could've made the fasteners more flexible.
